ListeningOne way of viewing listening is as the ‘other side of the coin’ to speaking when it comes to conversation. Students might be worried about their speaking ability, but if they don’t improve their listening skills as well, they will not be able to converse with anyone.


ReadingAll readers bump into perplexing passages. Proficient readers can pinpoint confusing passage parts and vocabulary and are able to tackle them on the spot. Struggling readers, on the other hand, tend to skip difficult passages and unfamiliar words which results in diminished comprehension.


WritingEverything from simple greetings to extremely complex ideas is captured through the manipulation of few dozen letters and other written symbols which contributes to the uniqueness of writing - and the uniqueness of teaching writing, too.
